Description
Stay at the beautiful Nunda Ranch in a remodeled ranch-hand cabin. Enjoy a quiet get away and spend time hiking, relaxing by a campfire, book a horseback ride with our ranch trail guide or visit Letchworth State Park. It’s primitive accommodations and is a great alternative to camping. Queen size bed, small table area to prepare food, two chairs, and a small wood-burning stove in the corner. Bathroom is located in the ranch barn and is fully finished with shower, toilet, sink, hot & cold water. The space The cabin overlooks the hills and back pastures of The Nunda Ranch. It doesn’t have a kitchen so guests should bring in their food as if they were camping. There is water on site at an outdoor well spigot for washing dishes, filling water for cooking or drinking. A nice, clean bathroom and shower is located in the ranch barn for common use. You can enjoy a rustic camping experience but still have some luxuries of modern plumbing and a cozy, open cabin. The cabin does have a small solar power system for electricity and you are able to charge cell phones, turn on an over head light and charge a lap top etc. Guest access The space includes the cabin and area directly surrounding the cabin, firepit and bathroom in the barn, etc. it also allows you to use the trails in the woods for hiking. Other things to note - The bathroom is approximately a 3-minute walk from the cabin on a gravel driveway that isn’t maintained in the winter months and can be slippery and Icy at times. You can also drive down to the barn if you prefer. - Guests should bring a propane camp stove for boiling water, cooking, ect. - Guests can also bring a small folding table for outdoor eating/use. - Guests can bring outdoor canopy for their use. - Items guests should bring are: utensils, dinnerware, cooler, ice, trash bags, bug spray, and any other item they wish to bring. - Cabin lights and outlets are powered by solar power. Small items can be charged such as laptops, cell phones. Larger items are not permitted as the solar system is only equipped to support small electronics and lights.
