Kontili - House in Chora, overlooking the Castle

Renovated, stone "katouna" (Skyrian farmhouse), with traditional elements. It is located in the area of Kontili, in the central settlement of Chora, 100m from the central square, overlooking the imposing rock with the Monastery and the Castle of Skyros. Its special layout gives guests privacy and independence of movement. The main amenity and privilege of the house is the private parking in its yard. The space On the ground floor, there is the living room with the traditional fireplace, a three-seater sofa that converts into a double bed and a single-bed armchair. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a bathroom. On the ground floor, also with independent access from the private, inner courtyard, is the one bedroom, which has a sofa bed and a single bunk bed (in the Skyrian dialect "sfa"). On the first floor, there is a large, spacious bedroom, with a double bed, its own bathroom, as well as a small bar fridge, while the view from its balcony to the castle is panoramic. Access to the bedroom of the floor is done in two ways: either from the external staircase and the balcony of the floor, where we meet its front door, or from the internal wooden staircase from the ground floor living room. This allows for complete autonomy in the use of the room, as an independent space, if this is desired by the guests of the floor and the ground floor, as this is regulated by the door between them. This special layout of the house gives privacy and independence of movement to the guests of the two floors, while at the same time, depending on the needs of the "group" or the family, direct communication inside the house can be chosen.
