View of our national mountain Stetind to the north, Hamarøya to the east and if you go down to the beach you will see the mighty Lofoten mountains to the south :-). The cottage is located by itself about 200-300 meters to the nearest holiday home. It is 6 km to Offersøy holiday center where you can participate in various activities and have the opportunity to rent a boat or join organized boat trips out to the beautiful island kingdom that is right outside. It is 8 km to Øye i stein, which is one of many sculpture landscapes in the north that is worth a visit. 3 km to the nearest convenience store as well as a pizza place and restaurant. Den Sorte Gryte is a goat farm with a shop selling cheese and a restaurant. There is an opportunity to greet the goat kids during the day. 5 km to the next store with a gas station. 1.5 hours from Harstad/Evenes airport. 1 hour to Sortland, 1.5 hours to Harstad where they have a large swimming pool/Grottebadet and the famous Adolf cannons. 2 hours to Svolvær. Its amazing view to Hamarøya and Lofoten. Breathtaking :-) No body else around :-) grocery shop 3 and 5 km away. The cabin is quite central for taking day trips to Lofoten, Harstad, Sortland or other places in Vesterålen like Nyksund which is like a cowboy town on water :-). There is also a pizza restaurant and goat farm 3 km away. Offersøy holiday center also has a restaurant and possibilities to rent a boat or to go with a shipper in the lovely island kingdom around. There is a terrace around the whole house. 2 lounges and two dinner tables. There is also an outdoor gas grill. Football etc. games for outdoor is also available. TV and a lot of DVDs if needed. And also a lot of games like Ludo etc. Lego, pencils, etc. 8 km away is a sculpture called Øye i stein - an eye in stone which is amazing and a must to visit. It took 3 years to polish it inside!!
