21A is very close to the main Takapuna shopping centre, restaurants, theatres and beach. The space The accommodation is under the main house which is down a ROW making it quiet and private but still so close to all that Takapuna has to offer. The bedroom contains a queen sized bed and there is space for two fold out beds suitable for children or a portable cot if required. There is a sitting area with a flat screen TV and DVD player, dining area with a table that seats four and a kitchenette with a sink, fridge, jug, toaster and microwave. An outside bbq is available to be used. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. The outdoor sitting space can be accessed from the main door or the bedroom. Bed linen and towels are provided as well as basic breakfast supplies for the first morning of your stay. The accommodation has its own entry accessed by a path down the side of the house. Parking is available on site. Wireless fast broadband available free. We live on site and are contactable by cell phone. Takapuna is a busy, vibrant hub known for its beautiful beach and lake, associated water sports, bars, cafés and excellent restaurants. The beach and the lake offer you the opportunity to swim safely, paddle board, wind surf, walk the beach or around the rocks or simply sit and enjoy the view. Main street shopping and the local mall, Shore City, offer a wide variety of clothing and home wares. The supermarket is about a 15 min walk away but local convenience stores stock a range of food and essential goods. The very popular Takapuna market is on Sunday morning. Theatres, The Bruce Mason Centre and the Pumphouse, the cinema, the library, churches and the local primary school are nearby. North Shore Hospital is a 5 minute drive away on the other side of Lake Pupuke. Very handy for families of patients or locum staff. A few minutes walk takes you to the bus stop from where it is a 15 min bus ride to the CBD or to the seaside suburbs of Devonport and Milford and the other suburbs of the North Shore. Ferries from Devonport go to the CBD and some of the islands of the Hauraki Gulf. Detailed information and maps about the local area and eating out are available.
