Located on relaxing 170+ acre non motor Papakeechie lake known for its great fishing. 5 minutes away from public boat launch for Wawasee which is a motor boat lake. This adorable cottage sleeps up to 8 people, and includes all major necessities, including all Linens, and cooking essentials. This cottage has recently been remodeled. You will have access to a jon boat, Pedal boat and 2 kayaks, life jackets and water toys. The cottage is completely furnished with all of the basic necessities. Full access to basement which has swimming, boating and some fishing supplies. You also have access to the pier as well a 2 kayaks, a Jon boat and a pedal boat. Please put all items away when finished and turn boats over so they do not get full of water. Interactions will be non existent unless there is an issue with the cottage. You may contact me at anytime with any issue and I will respond promptly. Our neighbors are great, never cause any trouble, and are willing to help out if you ever have any questions. Also, beware of keeping any doors open. The neighborhood dogs are free to rome, and will indeed present themselves unnoticed... Please note that Uber, Lyft are available however EXTREMELY limited in this remote area. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! Please be aware the place you are about to rent is a 100+ YEAR OLD LAKE COTTAGE, and almost everything is original. With that being said- We have 5 hours in between rentals to switch out linens and clean. During the busy season we do not have time to deep clean everything. YOU WILL FIND DIRT-ITS A 100+ YEAR OLD LAKE COTTAGE! We have a pest control company spray every month. YOU WILL SEE BUGS AND SPIDER WEBS-AGAIN-ITS A 100+ YEAR OLD LAKE COTTAGE! The climb down the hill may be steep to some and yes their is algae in the lake, if their wasn't, it would be called a pool. Consider it part of adventure. NATURE is fun! We absolutely LOVE our fur family and allow you to have dogs. We do not however allow ANY cats, please don't place any judgment on the naughty cats, it's their owners fault. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY FECES FOUND IN OR AROUND THE COTTAGE. You will also be charged for excessive dog hair. WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS ON FURNITURE!!! The cottage is on a well. The water while completely safe to drink doesn't taste the best. You may want to bring your own drinking water. Their is a charcoal grill on the front deck, you will need to supply your own charcoal and lighter fluid. On the back, lakeside deck is a propaine fire pit. You will need to supply your own propaine when tank is empty. Down by the lake is a wood firepit, you will need to supply your own wood.
