Experience marine atmosphere amongst sea shells, fishing nets and ropes, sea lanterns, stone walls, wooden floors, authentic vintage handmade and handpainted furniture, rectangular wall niches… Fisherman room is EQUIPPED with king size double bed, PRIVATE bathroom, FREE wi-fi, air conditioning, LCD TV, safety deposit box, hair dryer, mini fridge and freezer, anti allergenic pillows and blankets, towels, shower gel… Also, at the basement of the house there is a wine cellar where You can taste and buy the best Croatian wines. The room is SITUATED on the first floor in Vila VILINI DVORI (Villa FAIRY'S COURTYARD). Villa is situated in the heart of the Old town, just a few steps from the Diocletian's Palace - a unique living monument protected by the UNESCO, the main Promenade - Riva, Marjan Park-Forest, Croatian National Theatre Split, Split Ferry Port, Main bus and train station, ACI Marina Split, famous sand beach and party destination - Bacvice... The Villa is NAMED afther a nearby site on Marjan, which are accoding to the belief of ancient people from Split, gathered good fairies. The Villa was BUILT ABOUT 300 YEARS AGO and is under the protection of the Conservation Department of Croatian Ministry of Culture. In 2013 and 2014 was completely renovated but has retained all of its historical features (stone walls, wooden floors, semi-circular and rectangular niches etc). The Villa is SITUATED in the quite neighbourhood of Veli Varoš. Veli Varoš is an exceptionally preserved old neighbourhood of the town and once it was the home of fishermen and people who worked in the fields. It is possible to arrange transfer from or to the airport - surcharge. Public PARKING AVAILABLE (free or surcharge). LOCAL EXCURSIONS to the nearby exceptional places like UNESCO protected old city of Trogir, Krka national park, medieval historical Klis Fort and various beautiful sightseeing spots can be arranged.
