Centrum - Lovely Studio in an Art Noveau House

This studio home is in Helsinki City Center's most desired surroundings, Töölö. Everything is easily accessible by metro, tram, and walking, making it an excellent location for tourists and businesses. The apartment contains everything you need for a short or longer stay. Within walking distance, there are many parks, cozy cafes, shops, restaurants, and supermarkets open 24 hours a day. There are two beds: one 120-cm bed and a 120-cm sofa bed. The space EXCELLENT LOCATION IN THE CITY CENTER IN AN ART NOUVEAU HOUSE! This fully furnished studio flat in the city center of Helsinki, Töölö district, lies just 700 m (2300 feet) from the railway station (where also trains and busses leave for the airport), 900m from Helsinki's most central point (Stockman department store), 17 km from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and 400m from Kamppi Shopping Center with a metro station as well as a bus terminal for local, long distance and international bus connections. Within walking distance, there are several supermarkets open 24 hours a day, as well as many parks, cozy cafes, shops, and restaurants, too. You can walk almost everywhere you want to go in Helsinki. Still, you can also use Helsinki's excellent tram network, starting just outside the building and taking you everywhere in central Helsinki. The address is Fredrikinkatu 64. ABOUT THE APARTMENT The one-room apartment is ideal for one or two people, but it has accommodated as many as four guests. (Even five is possible with an extra mattress.) The apartment feels bigger than 25 m2 because of its light colors, big windows, and 3m high ceiling. ABOUT MY HOME You will live in my home, which I will temporarily let travelers to. I will return to live there later. After buying the apartment, I renovated it thoroughly to make it as practical and cozy a home as one can make for a simple life in the most wanted surroundings of the Helsinki City Center. Please treat my home well. I hope you will enjoy your stay there. BEDS Currently, the apartment contains one 120-wide bed, but for an additional fee, guests can use a 120-wide sofa bed for two. We can also arrange extra mattresses that can be used as floor beds if needed. AMENITIES 120 cm bed, extra mattresses, towels, and bed sheets for at least five people, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, a dishwasher, an electrically adjustable office table, chairs, and free internet (cable and WiFi). The apartment does not have a TV. HOT SUMMER NIGHTS The sun does not shine directly on the apartment, and its room temperature does not get very hot in the summer. Still, some prefer cooler temperatures. That's why the apartment has a portable, foot-mounted fan that you can place next to your bed. Using the fan may be better than keeping the window open, as the sound of trams passing by the house may disturb your sleep. SPECIAL The apartment has an electronically adjustable desk, which allows you to work long hours in an ergonomic position. POSSIBLE For an additional fee, a printer, keyboard, and a computer screen. KITCHEN The kitchen contains dishes and cooking utensils, a coffee machine, a water boiler, a microwave oven, a stove with four cooking plates and a normal oven, a toaster, a water boiler, a refrigerator, and a small freezer. Tee, cooking oils, spices, and other foodstuffs are free to use if found in cupboards. FREE WIFI IN HELSINKI The apartment has a fast WiFi. There is also free WiFi in many popular areas in the city center of Helsinki. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE APARTMENT! CHECK-IN AND CHECKOUT Negotiable. It depends on the arrival times and leaving times of other guests. WHEN YOU LEAVE THE PLACE * Leave the keys on the table. * Pile the bed sheets, dirty towels, and other linen on the washing machine. * Put the dishes in the dishwasher. * Gather your trash in a plastic bag and put the bag in the shower room. * Bring back the stuff where it was before you check out. IF YOU FORGET OR LOSE THE KEYS There are two keys for guests, but guests coming alone will get just one key. You can leave keys on the table when you leave. If you forget the key inside, you may need to wait until I wake up and tune the mute off from my telephone. Someone will come to open the door, but I'll charge you 60 euros for that extra job.
