T2: For couples who love nature and back to basics. Walk 100 metres down a steep hill through the forest to connect with what’s wild. A 5m bell tent and couch outside under a rustic iron shelter. Comfy bed, linen and quilts supplied. Outdoor camp fire (outside of fire season) and small gas heater. Outdoor camp shower bag (cold only) and camping toilet. Byo food or local takeaway, no cooking facilities. Small gas stove top and kettle for hot drinks. Eski (byo ice). 2pm in and 10am checkout. The space You have exclusive use of about 2 acres of fenced hillside forest and grazing land. The rest of our property is on one side and grazing land on the other side. The tent is in the middle and has views over the valley but hidden from view of the road, and neighbouring pasture land. The gum trees (and fences) filter any visual connection with the rest of the property. (You might get some curious cows looking over the fence or a kangaroo sometimes or even an echidna). The toilet and shower is simply screened outside, and washing water is supplied. Guest access You have access to your own 2 acre paddock only. Other things to note You’ll need to be able to negotiate a steep but smooth walk to and from your carpark (about 100 metres). Included is: All bed linen and quilts, towels and face washers supplied. A litre of drinking water and about 20 litres of wash water. Disposable plates and utensils. Outside of fire danger season, some firewood is supplied (one night supply about 15kg). A small gas heater for outside use only. Bring warm clothes as we’re in the hills. No cooking facilities (except for a small gas burner for boiling the kettle, so BYO food or buy takeaway about 10 minutes away. No power - just a battery powered lamp. (Bring your own power pack for your phone if necessary).
