Country Holiday House

Rustic residence built with materials traditional to our region. It’s situated in a rural area, in Fenais da Luz (13 kilometres or 10-15 minutes to the city centre of Ponta Delgada. The house has everything you need if you wish to bring your family or friends. It’s close to interest points such as Batalha Golf Course, Natural pools of São Vicente and beaches in Ponta Delgada and Ribeira Grande. In a 2,5 kilometres radius there’s a pharmacy, some restaurants and a supermarket The space Maria, my wife, is the one who manages all the reservations and messages, and check-in can be done by either of us according to the availability of the schedule. The house is very old, it has been recovered with some regional materials. Within it were used materials recycled by us( give life to what would go to the garbage). If you like nature, then you can enjoy the outdoor space that is common with the host's. In the surrounding outdoor space you can photograph, paint, read, practice yoga or just be! Guest access In the surrounding green space or in the woods you can relax enjoying nature, there is a view of the sea that you can confirm in the photos. It’s necessary to have identification documents to be able to fill information on a sheet provided by us, due to Portuguese taxation laws. Starting from the 1st of January 2025, the government of Azores implemented a touristic tax which implies 2€ for each person for a maximum of 3 days (6€ maximum per person) This amount has to be paid on arrival at the house, to later be returned to the government. Insects and other Info: The Azores have a hot and humid climate that is teeming with wildlife. Depending on the time of year and the weather conditions, guests may encounter some insects like cockoraches, mosquitoes, slugs, or other bugs. While we do utilize regular pest control services, we are unable to offer any guarantees against or refunds for the occasional bug that may make it inside our home. We do our best to prevent this from occurring and guests can help by keeping doors closed and disposing of trash and storing food in a responsible manner. It is not permitted to eat in the bedrooms.
