It has a small garden with decking where the outdoor jacuzzi is. If you come in the winter, you may experience strong winds in Velbastaður, but the house is built to withstand this. It’s good to note that the apartment has low ceilings (particularly in the bedroom which is snug), which will be a consideration for tall people. The bedroom has a double bed (two single memory foam mattresses in a king-size frame). Another single bed is in an adjacent area separated by a partition wall. A baby cot can be added if requested. Guest access Guests have access to outdoor jacuzzi and sauna on request and for additional charge of 200kr. The jacuzzi is in a shared area. Other things to note While this downstairs apartment has its own entrance (separate to the house upstairs), there is a glassroom and separate bedroom on the same lower floor which may be used by the hosts living upstairs. These are accessed from the same entrance room which the main apartment (lounge / kitchen and bedroom are behind its own door) and the bathroom are off.
