The Cupule

At The Cupule, you will enjoy the luxury and class of the brand new Estate, with panoramic views of the cape Greco National Park, the Mediterranean Sea, the gardens, the stream, the fountains and the pool. The resort unlike any other venues in our area can offer exclusivity, reserving it only for you, as there is only 1 accommodation suite within the whole of the estate that can be booked as a separate unit. The space The bedroom suite was Made in Austria and Shipped to England in 1859, it was specially made to order for The Cary family, that owned large estates in the Torbay area of South Devon, in England. Sir Robert Cary purchased the bedroom suite as he was an avid art collector and it was customary for any Lords or British hierarchy to have a special separate room available in their home, ready for the Queen in case she would choose to visit. This room was cleaned and dusted regularly, but never used by anyone else. During this period a public Royal visit to Torquay, by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, is not recorded, but an informal visit could have taken place. In 1963 The Bemerton house was bought by The Augusti Family and converted into a hotel, were the bedroom suite was used as a Bridal suite until 1974. The Augusti family that owned the Bemerton Hotel removed the bedroom suite when they sold the Hotel and later transported it here to Cyprus in 1985. The owner of The Cupule being the youngest child of the Augusti family takes great pride, in sharing this heirloom and having it enjoyed by all couples that will sleep in it. Consider this, It was created for a Queen but more importantly a woman, that was passionately in love and devoted to her husband , in an era were public affection was shunned, she displayed and was constant to their undying love for each other, it is apt that all couples share a similar love for each other. This Bedroom suite is special, made for a magnificent Queen and Empress, it is unique and regal, it is fitting that every bride, should be treated as a Queen on her special day. Enjoy The Luxury, Engraving memories……… Guest access The venue is a luxury estate, with gardens, lawns, orchards, streams an infinity pool and is within the National park. All these areas are available to guests. Other things to note Its truly amazing and unique as you have 6,000 m2 of luxury estate for your own enjoyment, just by yourself with no other tourists or visitors. When an event is taking place the Bridal suite is not available to rent.
