Welcome to the Farmhouse - a B&B! Located just minutes from Medford, WI our home is an ideal place to stay whether you are in town for work or just a peaceful get away. Multiple rooms for family and friends gatherings. Our hobby farm overlooks the Black River & farm country. With direct access to miles of Rail Trail for bikes, horses or snowmobiles we are the perfect base camp for your visit. The space We love a full house! Meeting new and diverse people brings excitement to our lives. Our hobby farm is home to Scottish Highland cows and a barn cat. We have a large deck that overlooks the Black River (good for kayaking in the spring) and the Pine Line Rail Trail. We are looking forward to hosting the equestrian community. The area has 22+ miles of non-motorized trails and we are within a 30 minute drive to 12 miles of Taylor County Horse Trails. *The Rail Trail also serves as a main snowmobile corridor during the winter season. Guest access The rental space - bedrooms, guest bath and sitting room are all upstairs. However, you are welcome to hang out with us in the family room or use the kitchen if you need. During your stay We enjoy visiting with our guests and describing the remodel of our Farmhouse but also respect their privacy. On the weekends we invite our guests to join us for a family style breakfast. Our guests are welcome to visit our furry friends outside or inside the barn. Other things to note Taylor County offers access to the hiking & hunting in the Chequamegon National Forest, hiking the Ice Age Trail, fishing on numerous natural rivers & lakes, extraordinary views from Timm's Hill Park, old fashion supper clubs, cheese factory tours & summer events at the winery.
