Farm stay in Cannington

Luxurious century home in the heart of the Kawarthas, this spacious farm house is ideal for family getaways, reunions, and company retreats. Fully equipped with all of the creature comforts, along with game room and pool table, outdoor pool, and a variety of outdoor games, this hidden escape is perfect for kids and adults. Starting from January 2020, all confirmed reservations, will be subject to an additional 13% tax(HST). The taxes will be collected by the AirBNB's Resolutions Center. The space Our house was built in 1818 and was completely renovated in 2018. This house sits on 18 acres of fully manicured land and is ideal for weddings, family get to gathers, Family parties, corporate retreats or just to relax and enjoy.(Extra fees applies based on the size of the gathering). Guest access Swimming Pool: The swimming is pool is 48" deep. Please ensure, if you are entering the pool you know how to swim. As well, ensure that all children have a life jacket on. we have installed a tubular solar heater for our Swimming pool in 2021. -from 2021 we provide firewood at the property for our guest to enjoy our outdoor fire pit.(Until supplies last. Will inform yo in advance if the supply depletes). -We have a paddleboat and provide life jackets to adults and children so that our guests can explore our pond.(new in 2021). -We have installed a beautiful dock in our pond for our guest to enjoy and get in and out of the pond from the dock.9New in 2021) -We provide two full propane tanks for your grilling pleasure. -Many of our guest have shown interest in swimming in our pond, our pond has been completely cleaned and we have installed aerators. The pond is 12' deep and will be available to our guests to swim starting from the 2020 season. -In 2020 all of the windows in the house were replaced so that our guest can have the windows opened during their stay in summer instead of relying on the air conditioner(If you decide to open the windows, please ensure that the air conditioner is switched off). Guests can now enjoy the fresh breeze and hear varieties of birds chirping. -We will have a queen sofa bed from Lazy Boy available to guests so that guests who don't get to sleep on the beds still can enjoy an amazing night's sleep. Guests can skate on our pond during winter(two months advance notice required to switch off the pond equipments) and those who are good swimmers can swim in the pond during the summer. (at their own risk) or simply take a canoe/paddle boat ride. -Our property is conveniently located closer to the snow mobile trails - TV- Billiards Table- Board Games provided in cabinet in the games room- Coffee Machine- Kettle- Study/Work desks in 3 bedrooms- Toaster & a Air Fryer. - Thillainathan Pond- Please no littering inside the Pond or the pool. No food or drinks are allowed in the pool.Parents please ensure you are accompanying your children at all times - Beaver River ,No littering or polluting within the River .Parents please ensure you are accompanying your child at all times - Horse Shoes (game) - Basketball Net- Fire Pit/ Bowl, Volley ball, badminton. Please use the fire bowl for your own safety and the houses safety. - BBQ, Please use it safely and ensure it is turned off after use. *PLEASE RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT. DO NOT LITTER, RIP OUT PLANTS, BURN ANYTHING ON THE PREMISES. Nalini's Advise 1) My advise is for you to visit us for at least 3 day's as our guests have mentioned that it takes at least 3 day's to discover our property. 2)Over the number of years that we have welcomed guests to our property, we have observed that our guests throw away a lot of food on the day of their check out. I will advise that you pack less food and supplies than what you think you will need and purchase what ever you need extra from the Food land, LCBO and all of the other family owned stores in the beautiful boutique city of Cannington. By doing this you not only ensure that you don't waste any food, in the meantime support a local store/restaurant run by families. 3)We provide plates, Glasses, mugs, and purified well water that is safe to drink. We have a dishwasher and we provide detergent. Please avoid bringing paper/foam plates, cups, containers so that you can contribute to protecting the environment. 4) I will advise guests to visit us during October and November. During these months you can experience the leaves change colour, weather is cooler and you will not have any bugs or mosquitos bothering you while you experience the outdoors. If you are lucky you might experience some days with warmer weather and can take a dip in our pond. 5)Maximum amount of Guest that we allow to stay in our property is 12(we are strict with this count). We have security cameras outside of the property to monitor and will charge a surcharge of $75 for each additional guest per day as per our listing.( Wear and tear of our property is close and dear to our heart. We want to keep our property in this condition so that all of our guests have a place to come and enjoy for years to come. We request all of our guests respect this rule and adhere to the maximum numbers allowed to stay at our property). Other things to note Guest Rules 1-Strictly no smoking inside the house, porch and on the dock. 2. Please be respectful of the neighbourhood, and remember to be quiet after hours.Sharp at 10 pm is quite time. 3. Please respect the environment 4. Children should be accompanied by adults at all times and in the Swimming Pool. Around the pond/Lake. Fire Pit. Barbecue ect. 5. Drugs will not be tolerated on the property. 6. Drinking and Driving will not be tolerated 7. Please ensure all garbage is disposed in the garbage bin outside the porch, and all recycling is placed in the blue bins provided. 8. Only flush toilet papers down the toilet 9. Please clean after yourself at all times. 10. No pets allowed. Owner is allergic to dander. Strict penalty of $1,000 applies for extra deep cleaning and sanitization of the house and land. 11. Only maximum of 12 guests are allowed. Reunions and gatherings of more than 12 on our property is subject to a surcharge of an additional $2000 per day or $25 per guest which ever is higher for the use of our land and the wear and tear of our house.(we have installed security cameras on our land to ensure that our guests respects the maximum guest count). 12. Please keep our home secured- lock all doors, windows when leaving the house . 13. The Shed and Barn are off Limits for guests. 14. Please do not leave any food or garbage outside on the land as it will attract wild animals. 15.If you are planning to book with us during a long weekend, please book for three knights not for two as this allows guests who want to visit us for three days the availability to book for three knights. 16.No food or drinks allowed in the pool and pond area, and in the bedrooms. 17.We have security Cameras installed outside on our land for ours and our guests safety and security. These are installed facing the drive way, facing the pond, facing the pool, facing the front of the house and facing the river. These devices will be on and recording the outside activities of our property.
