A beautfiful home just newly finished and furnished. With lots of light and space. Overlooking the city and the Atlantic oceon. Very friendly neighbourhood and safe. My home is suitable for single people or a couple who want a quiet evening after a day's hard work. If you are coming for holiday this lodge is the ideal space to escape from city noise. It's close to Lumley beach and also on the peninsular road for quick access to going up country. Guests can have access to car rental. There is wifi at an added daily cost of $3. There is kitchen for guests who might want to cook. The living room is also accessible and comfortable. There is a big outdoor space for guests to relax under a mango tree and enjoy the cool see breeze. My interaction with guests is minimal. But anytime a guest needs help its right there provided by four helpers around the house. My neighbourhood is relatively quiet. With close proximity to the Tacugama Chimpanzee reserve and also to the Lumley beach and just 15-20mins to the city centre by car. It is safe and quite a hilly area so the view over the city and atlantic oceon is refreshing with nice cool breeze all day and night. The road is paved so you can drive safely. Getting around Freetown is easy but the traffic is very heavy. Depending on how adventurous you feel you can choose to walk up the hill from our lodge to the main street to catch a taxi or okada/moto bike to get to your destination. Equally we can call for a taxi to pick you up every time you desire. If you have your own vehicle there is safe parking for up to three cars. If you are flying in to Sierra Leone you will need to take the Pelican boat crossing from the airport to Aberdeen at $40. Alternatively you can take the public ferry which is much cheaper but takes a very long time to cross over to Freetown city. I can arrange for a taxi to take you from the ferry port or from Aberdeen to Hill Station for a cost of $6-7 if you dont have a vehicle. Please also note that not everywhere in Freetown is properly addressed so you will need assistance to get to my lodge and most places. Google map will help a bit too. Sometimes there is power failure but its very minimal. There are standby generators when needed. We buy water in containers but we make sure you have sufficient water supply everyday. We provide laundry service for you at a minimal cost.
