Home in Whitstable

Hello! We are delighted to offer our family home in Whitstable for holiday let. The house is stylish, cosy and great for young kids/family getaways. The space The house has a large garden with a trampoline and a conservatory that doubles as a playroom, making it a lovely place for a summer break with children. It also has a working log fire, central heating, double glazed windows making it perfect for a winter/festive break. Please note this is a family home that we let when we go away (not an empty holiday cottage) and therefore comes with our VERY affectionate cat and lots of toys and games for kids, which as you will see from the reviews, has been a highlight for previous guests. The property is a 15 minute walk to the beach. Parking can be challenging and expensive so guests often value the two off road parking spaces that are available to our guests only. We are 5 minutes away from the sat food market and the best coffee shop and pastries in Whitstable (Grain & Hearth). The house includes a kitchen/diner with unusual concrete tiles and a seperate cosy front-room with interesting furniture, art and a large sofa. As above, is also full of delights for young ones, including a fancy dress box and various games in the conservatory play area. We have Netflix,, Disney+ and a sound bar to watch films and a Sonos music player for well.. music! There is a large recently renovated bathroom downstairs with bath and separate double shower and three bedrooms upstairs. Bedrooms: - One large double for adults - One toddler room with 1 bed and a spare mattress - A large children's room which has a double beds or could be for grandparents or aunts and uncles. Additional info about sleeping Please note this listing only works for an adult/ adults with children. Parking We have two off road car parking spaces at the back of the house (parking is very hard to find in Whitstable). Your stay There is a washing machine, dryer, towels, linen and logs. We are also happy for visitors to use basics such as cereals and rice from the kitchen. Guest access The whole house is available as part of this listing. Other things to note We have a cat that we kindly ask guests to feed with the food provided during their stay. It is not uncommon for our guests to tell us Lucas was the highlight of their stay. He's quite the cuddles! This is a family home where small children live, so is not suitable for parties. It's very suited to young families who want to go away without having to lug lots of toys.
