Beach Home-No Ferry Samish Island

Our Samish Island Beach Home is 400 feet from the water and it takes a minute+ to walk down to the beach front and fireplace pit. The space This new and privately owned home (1,456 sq ft, lot size 11,000 sq ft) on Samish Island is situated between Anacortes and Bellingham but you don’t have to take a ferry to get there. The beach home features a layout of a spacious living room with water view and view of Mt Baker. The large kitchen is open to the dining area and fully equipped with dishes, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and dish washer. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, walk in closet and a private full bath. There are two more bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with two twin beds and an additional full bath. In addition to beds, we also have two cots that makes in to twin beds. Full laundry room with washer and dryer. Outside, enjoy a lawn area and a large wrap around trex deck with BBQ, table and lawn chairs. We don't charge a cleaning fee at the time of booking if you leave the house they way you found it. Should you prefer not to clean, please leave $100 check or cash on the table. Ample parking on the property. Our home on Samish Island is facing north and is 1 1/2 hours drive from Seattle and 25 minutes from Bellingham. The ideal location for a myriad of daytrips: Visit La Conner, the San Juan Islands or drive to Bellingham’s artistic Fairhaven district along Chuckanut Drive, one of the nation’s most scenic highways, wonderful restaurants and shopping, all in the beautiful Skagit Valley and surrounding area. Only 10 minutes away you will find the town of Edison with art galleries, bakeries, restaurants and more. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Guest access Beach: We own 250ft of shared water front with our neighbors, from the east fence to the west fence. You can also walk the beach as far as you want when the tide is out. Our private fireplace pit is the second one to the west (left) as you walk down the Blue Heron Rd, (boat ramp road). We have a bench there with trex seating and our name Larry & Desiree Omdal. You can bring your own wood, or use ours from the house. Kindling is behind the right sliding door in the carport. Striker in the kitchen drawer next to dining area. It will be a $5 fee if you use our wood. Leave a check or cash on the table.
