Mountain Farm Lodge at Perthi

A two-bedroom mountain lodge on our working farm above Beddgelert - part of Perthi Holiday Cottages. Ty Pren is warm and cosy with full central heating, and its floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of Moel Hebog. We're a 7-minute drive from the Rhyd Ddu path on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), with walking routes from the door. The space The lodge is arranged on one level. It has a bright open-plan kitchen and living space, two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a shower room, and a separate WC. Outside, there is a private patio area with seating and a picnic table. The lodge looks out over open fields and mountains, and sits alongside our traditional farm buildings where you may see farming activity, free-roaming chickens, and sheep grazing. Guest access Access & Parking: Half-mile private concrete track — well-maintained and suitable for all cars. Free off-road parking right next to the lodge through the gate (accessed via a few steps). Walking to the Village: 10-minute downhill walk via our private footpath through fields and woods. Walking shoes are recommended as paths can get wet after rain. Alternative Walk: You can drive down our track to our lower parking bay for a shorter, flatter walk into the village (there is no pavement, so a torch is useful after dark). Other things to note Work & Connectivity: Wi-Fi is reliable fibre and suitable for streaming or remote work. Water: Fresh, UV-filtered and sourced directly from the mountain. Laundry: Shared washer and dryer available in an outbuilding 50m away. Hiking: Summit Yr Aran directly from the farm gate (proper equipment required) or enjoy the scenic circular route over to the Craflwyn Estate. The Coast: Beaches and coastal paths are just a 15-minute drive if the hills are in cloud.
