The rental space is the lower unit in a two story house. The studio is all on one level and does not require stairs to enter. The ocean can be seen and heard all day, and there is a private trail which leads to the beach in less than 5 minutes. Enjoy a breakfast in bed and fresh coffee watching the waves and spend as much time as you please being cozy inside or adventuring outside. With the full kitchen and dining table, cooks can enjoy using local farm fresh ingredients to make delicious meals. Just far enough from town that it’s quiet and private, but not too far that you can still walk into town. Guests will have access to the entire studio rental downstairs. We live in the unit upstairs and will be available most times for any extra needs. Our house is located 5 minutes from Virgin Creek Beach. We live along a trail called the "Haul Road" as it used to be the primary roadway used to haul lumber between the forest and the saw mill in town. The saw mill is long gone, but the roadway remains giving runners, walkers, and bicyclists an excellent trail to use anytime of day. We are also a 5 minute drive from the center of historic Fort Bragg with beautiful shops and delicious restaurants. Depending on the weather, locals use walking, biking and driving to get around town. The haul road can be used to walk or bike to town if desired. If you are driving, there is usually plenty of parking close to your destination and it is free of charge. Although we have full cellphone service around our house and in town, due to poor internet service, there is no ride sharing or taxi services. If needed, talk to us about possible rides to and from nearby destinations. Keep in mind that this is a studio and there are no separate bedrooms. The queen bed and full sized futon are in the same room. Keep the futon up as a couch, or lay it out for an extra guest. Let us know if you have need for the futon, and we will be sure to make bedding available. Please note that we do live upstairs, we don't have kids or stay up very late. We have 2 cats and get up for work around 8am Monday-Friday. We make a strong effort to not make unnecessary noise upstairs, but please understand you will likely be able to hear us upstairs living normally. The TV is WiFi only with applications available for log in. We’ve logged into some of our own that were willing to share but If you have your own streaming services, feel free to log into them using the TV remote, and then log out upon check out.
