The Fox & Hound Farm Stay is located in the beautiful Forgotten Valley on the banks of the Macdonald River. This unique property provides barn like accommodation and is perfect for an active outdoor family getaway, a relaxed peaceful couples retreat or anything in between! The space Fox & Hound Farm Stay is a newly converted barn situated on over 16 acres of bushland in the Forgotten Valley with direct access to the Macdonald River. The barn has a modern living space with a two seater sofa, multiple lounge chairs, a satellite TV, WIFI connection and a great selection of books and games. A bathroom with a newly installed rain fed shower and bath, toilet and vanity. As well as this there is a stylish kitchen with fridge , twin electric hob , microwave (no oven) but use of a BBQ. We have also recently refurbished the bathroom with new shower, screen and tap wear. In addition a brand new airconditioning system has been installed servicing the ground floor living and kitchen area. Upstairs there are two spacious rooms both with queen sized beds and hanging space for clothes. We can accommodate up to five guests if you wish to utilise a foldaway single bed, please do let us know. The property has direct river access to a lovely swimming hole and it is the perfect spot to launch a kayak. Guests can also walk around the organic orchard as well as having access to pristine bush walking and mountain biking trails. There is also a table tennis table in the car port next to the Barn. Set up is easy but please put the table away at the end of your stay. Bats and balls can be found in the plastic bench in the car port along with golf clubs and balls as well as flags for bush bash golf course . We provide: - Fresh towels and linen - Basic essentials such as tea, coffee, cooking oil etc. but please do note that there are no shops St Albans other than the historic Settlers Arms Inn & newly reopened the Pickled Wombat cafe/restaurant so you will need to bring all your food supplies and bottled water the tank rain water is fine to drink but some people prefer bottled - Onsite parking Guest access Guests have access to the whole 16 acres! Please take a walk through the organic orchard and venture down to the swimming hole. Guests have access to: - River, swim , kayak - Bush walks - Mountain bike trails (please bring your own bikes) - Golf clubs, flags and balls to set up own bush golf course - Table Tennis table bat & balls Registration Details PID-STRA-6621-2
