The apartment is located in Sugarhill, an historic area of Harlem on the Upper Westside of NYC. The room is about 100 sq ft with a built-in floor-to-ceiling closet, twin size bed, a nightstand, a desk and a chair. I have a cat. His name is Charlie. The apt decor is mid-century modern. I am a fashion designer and often work from home in my studio. I have a lovely little cat named Missy. The neighborhood is undergoing gentrification and has an eclectic mix of artists, and professionals of various income levels and ethnicities. Jackie Robinson Park, designated an Historic Harlem Park, is one block away. The park includes an amphitheater for summer concerts and a public swimming pool. There are grocery stores, banks, and restaurants within a few blocks. The apartment is located on the block of an express A/D and local C/B subway train stops making trip to mid and lower Manhattan short (15-30 minutes) and easy. Wireless internet is included. No couples (one person per room), no guests, no smokers, and no drugs. I have one additional room available.
