The space Hummingbird Harbour is a haven for guests seeking a relaxing getaway at the beach. Built in 1900, this historic 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house that is fully remodeled. Our home is legally registered as a short term rental as required by the Town of Colonial Beach- License ID 23-00309. Meticulous landscaping frames the house, featuring Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, fire pit, and large back yard. A screened back porch is perfect for reading or sipping your morning coffee. Plug in the string lights at night and enjoy a glass of wine! Here are a few highlights: We sanitize high-touch surfaces, and use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies. We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines. Please note that we are unable to request early check-in or late checkout requests. This is so we can be both compliant with AirBnb's Enchanced Cleaning protocols and allow our professional, licensed and insured cleaners to earn a living by honoring their work schedule as we are not the only property they maintain. Thank you! Guest access The entire property and grounds are accessible to you and you will have them all to yourselves! Visitor Policy: You are welcome to have a few (4 or fewer) friends and family visit during the day who are not staying in the home. Please contact us for approval if you wish to have more than 4 visitors at any time to the property (house or yard/premises). Keep in mind this does not authorize anyone to host a party of any kind. Your visitors during the day are not allowed to bathe/shower, sleep in an unused bed or otherwise make use of the home as a guest. If you allow this, you will be charged $25 per person per day. As the booking guest, it is your responsibility to make your visitors aware of the House Rules and see that they follow them. You will be held responsible for the behavior and activity of your guest. All visitors, unless otherwise authorized, must vacate the premises between 10 PM and 7 AM. Any unauthorized visitors that stay overnight will result in an additional charge $50 each per guest. This fee will be charged to the booking guest. No fireworks. Other things to note While this property has a yard and is partially fenced, we are not able to welcome pets. No parties. Tampering with the outdoor security camera is a violation of the house rules and your reservation will be terminated immediately. No refund will be given. Please note that while the house has a charcoal grill and firepit that you are welcome to use, we do not provide charcoal or wood. The hardware store in town sells both.
