100 year old period house nestling in the Welsh valleys in an elevated position overlooking the valley. The house borders parkland and forestry for walking and cycling. The Brecon Beacons is close (30 mins), Bike Park Wales (15 mins), Cardiff (45 mins) and Swansea (50 mins). The house is accessible off the A470 just 25 mins north of Cardiff. The house is semi-detached with patio and garden at front. Parking on the road nearby is available. Direct rail link from Cardiff. The space The house is a little quirky and interesting with nice outside space, patios and garden. It is filled with books, art and things I have collected on my travels. I have 1 room listed with double bed which is suitable for 1 or 2 people. Guest access Private bathroom Dining area for breakfast Garden During your stay Happy to chat, socialise and give local knowledge of area. I speak French and Spanish as well as some German and Italian. Basics will be available in your room , e.g. tea, coffee,milk and for breakfast if required, a selection of some of the following: cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast. Other things to note The house is my personal space. The cat will be around during your stay but he is quite shy and timid. I do not allow guests to cook at the house but you can bring food back(takeaway) or cold food that you may wish to prepare/ warm/ plate. You can make tea and coffee in your room.
