Use of the kitchen is not permitted by guests. During your stay This is our holiday home so we will not be there at all times. However, our 2 caretakers/cooks are always on site and will clean and cook on a daily basis. Our office timings are Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All the safety protocols as mandated / recommended by the government from time to time will be in effect at Sukhalay Homestays. Please co-operate by following these safety measures for our collective good. Other things to note • Tariff is inclusive of breakfast • We have 2 cooks/caretakers on site 24/7 who will prepare meals as per our a la carte menu • Food bills (lunch/dinner/snacks/beverages) will have to be settled by cash, on site, at the time of check out or transferred online. We do not have a credit card machine on site. • Typical North Indian cuisine with some Continental dishes •We provide handwash gel but no other toiletries due to Covid sanitary protocol so please carry your own personal toiletries • Laundry will be charged extra as per actuals • Additional person charge : below 6 years - No charge (Rs.500/- if an extra mattress is requested) 7 - 12 years - Rs.1000/- inclusive of extra mattress 12 years and above - Rs.1500/- inclusive of extra mattress • Driver accommodation - Rs.1000/- per night inclusive of meals • Bonfire is available at an extra charge. • The other rooms of the cottage might be occupied by other guests during your stay. • Wifi is available • Power in these remote regions can be erratic for which we have an on-site generator • Our generator functions up to only 4 hours at a stretch and will not be switched on from midnight to 7 a.m. for safety reasons • On the topic of safety, it is advisable to keep an eye out for leopards as the area is known to have them prowling around. Please do not venture out for walks after sunset. • Photo id of each member has to be shown upon arrival.
