Bamboo & B Kawah Ijen River View

Bamboo & B offers a unique gateway on the slopes of Kawah Ijen. Surrounded by a river, rice fields and a tropical garden, the building features 3 floors, 2 private rooms, 1 dormitory, 2 shared bathrooms with hot water and a spacious common area on the second floor. We can also help our guests to organize their journey in the area and more specifically to Kawah Ijen. Local food is available and amazing pancakes for breakfast will help you recover from your hike in an Eco-friendly environment. The space The aim of that construction was to share our vision of ecotourism and our passion for structures build with natural materials such as Bamboo and simple techniques with travelers discovering East-Java and more specifically, the Kawah Ijen Volcano. The whole building has been build on concrete pillars already present on site, an old chicken farm. Building above the ground has given us the opportunity to minimize ground impact and protect the bamboos from soil moisture. A total of 4.6km of bamboo was used to complete the main structure, floors, and roofs.
