A charming little village in the Périgord Vert, 15 km from the rural town of Nontron. From Utrecht, the distance is about 950 km. Ideal for people with children who are looking for nature or peace and quiet, in combination with a luxury campsite where there is much to experience. The campsite: The campsite Chateau le Verdoyer is located in Champs-Romain. A charming little village in the Périgord Vert, 15 km from the rural town of Nontron. In the beautiful green region of the Dordogne, Limousin and Charente. Château Le Verdoyer is located in this beautiful area with plenty of sweet chestnuts and oaks, at 310m altitude. There are 2 swimming pools at the campsite. There is also a water slide. Also there is a large fish pond that is full of (small) carp. The camping is ideal for families with (young) children and for nature lovers. The owners are a Dutch couple who are committed to their campsite with heart and soul and do everything they can to make the guests as happy as possible. Almost all caravans are owned by English or Dutch owners. Other things to note WiFi is available for €20 per week for 3 devices.
