Wee Home was the first of our 6 self catering rentals to be be completed on the site of an 18th Century corn and flax mill. Situated in The Green Holiday Cottages 10 acres site beside the Kilkeel river. The property has its own woodfired hot tub and shower area, this is not included in your cost but can be added to your booking. Please contact me prior to arrival if required. It also has an outdoor kitchen area with a built in pizza oven. The space From Wee Home you have the chance to explore the land that inspired the Narnia Chronicles, Percy French, and more recently has enjoyed being the landscape in major film productions namely Philomena and Game of Thrones. Kilbroney Forest Park, The Silent Valley, Tollymore Forest Park and Castlewellan which is host to one of the world's largest hedge mazes are all within a short drive. Both have access for walkers and cyclists. Wee Home has its own outdoor BBQ and Pizza oven. A perfect way to spend to spend an evening what ever the weather. Guest access Guests have access to the cottage and the surrounding gardens and river area. We will be on hand on arrival to show you round.
