The short walk to the Elbe beach leads through wonderful parks. Just as quickly you are at Spritzenplatz, the lively center of Ottensen with its countless shops, cafes and pubs. The large, bright room on the 2nd floor is on the street (speed limit 30), but is very quiet due to the double window. A small kitchen (5 square meters with dining area, hotplates, fridge and dishwasher) and the guest bathroom are available for your exclusive use. The gastronomic and cultural offerings in Ottensen leave nothing to be desired. The connection to public transport is very good. Parking is only available for a limited time if you feed the parking meter (3 EUR/hour). Since January 1, 2023, the City of Hamburg has also been charging a culture and tourism tax for guests who are in Hamburg for professional reasons. This amounts to - depending on the number of nights and the number of overnight stays - one to two euros per night and is to be settled directly with me/paid to me. Guest access Wi-Fi, cable TV in the room, bed linens and towels. A small grocery store is across the street. Supermarkets and organic stores are a 5- to 7-minute walk away. During your stay I am happy to help with orientation in Hamburg and give tips, but I am also often on the go Other things to note Parking is generally subject to a charge in the surrounding streets; parking tickets are only available for a maximum of three hours between 8 am and 10 pm. So you can unload your luggage and then have to look for a parking space further away for the car. After consultation, I can also apply for and have a (paid) "visitor parking ticket" issued on the Internet, which is only valid for one day and for a specific car (license plate!).
