An independent Bungalow, on an acre of land, opening on the beach. amidst coconut trees, few mango trees, a vegetable garden & a tastefully done up house. Wake up to the twittering of birds, pick up seasonal fruits, take long walks on the beach after a long day at work. All set for WORK FROM HOME. Good WIFI , with an inhouse cook & cleaner. Just set up your laptop, & start your day. Breakfast, lunch & dinner will be served. Completely isolated Covid free place, well ventilated & sanitised. The space A peaceful , pretty house, the right place for a family to spend a refreshing holiday. Pluck your own veggies, fruits in season. Try your hand at organic farming. Enjoy a variety of flora in the tastefully done up garden.Listen to music, read , write, paint , cook, to your hearts content. Need a stressbuster, after a hectic work schedule, tired of claustrophobic hotel rooms ,this is the place, to come relax & go back rejuvenated. For the present, we have changed our cleaning protocol. The house is well sanitised every day, including the door knobs. the washrooms are equipped with hand wash for regular use. So also the basin outside the house, to make sure you come in completely disinfected. A sanitizer is in place, but would advise use of soap & water more frequently. to prevent your skin, from reacting to the chemicals in the sanitizer. The floors are all disinfected with Camphor, a natural disinfectant & the flat surfaces with sodium hypochlorite . In addition we have a UV light to sanitise every room after the entire cleaning protocol is done, This ensures double safety. Our staff is wearing masks at all times on the property. Temperatures using an infra red thermometer is a must for all guests at entry, to ensure the place is safe. Alibag experiences load shedding every Tuesday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. Load shedding is also common in the monsoons, as all the electric wires are overhead & there is no underground cabling. We have a generator back up for the same, but we request all guests to not use all AC"s at one time. We also request the guests to of all the AC's every 3 hours for 30 minutes ,to avoid burnouts. Please do not use the water heaters on the first floor when the generator is on. The road on last 1.5 kms to the property is not in great shape, as it is a small village. You will have to negotiate through small roads, but our care taker will be there to help you, so that you do not get lost. Guest access Guests have access to the entire bungalow. There's a small pool alongside the house, just enough to take a dip in. May be enjoy a drink, in the pool. A beautiful verandah overlooking the farm, with a beautiful seating arrangement. your morning cuppa tea in this sit out is bound to bring you all the re-energising you are looking for. Want to meditate on the beach, the beach is all yours. Are you a bird watcher, come with your special lenses, you are sure to get a good look at some never before seen species. Other things to note We have a generator back up to ensure an uninterrupted electric supply, so that work will be easy. Every Tuesday, there is a shutdown from 9.am to 6.00 pm, so we request all our guests to limit the use of AC's & Water heaters simultaneously. Also do switch off AC's for 30 minutes every 3 hours to prevent a burn out. Please DO NOT USE WATER HEATERS ON THE FIRST FLOOR WHEN THE GENERATOR IS ON. If you want a change in food, you can order food from some of the local restaurants that are offering home service too. The neighbourhood is quiet, as on either side, we have homes that are very rarely occupied, one belonging to the Piramals & the other to the Jaslok owners.However we insist on maintaining the peace & the quiet of the neighbourhood at all times. No loud music, & noise please. remember you are here for a change, why replicate the same pub culture here too? there's lots to do without the noise. I'm sure you'll love the serenity & relax. Do not bother about drinking water, as we have a triple filter with an RO system , to ensure safe , Potable water. despite that ,If you must, bottled water can be made available on request for a fee.
