River House & Cabins - idyllic Mt Warning retreat

The River House at Mt Warning is a charming Queenslander residence with multiple bedrooms and additional separate cabins, ideal for groups of up to twenty people to enjoy. Located on five acres, the property is a peaceful oasis with Tweed River frontage. Whether you launch your canoe or paddle board from the property, catch a fish, hike in the local national parks or explore the nearby villages, the River House is an ideal base from which to do as much or as little as desired. The space The River House has multiple accommodation options including the main house, self contained studio, yurt and two cabins with bathrooms. The property has been run as a B and B and cabins by the previous owners but we hope to give large family groups the option to come together in an idyllic location. The property is set up to accommodate twenty guests. The main house has five bedrooms, two bathrooms (one combined with laundry) and multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces. The studio beneath the main house is well set-up for a family with children. It is self-contained with kitchenette, bathroom and large open-plan living and sleeping space with a king and queen bed. The cabins and the yurt are located away from the main residence (foot access only), allowing larger groups of guests to spread out and have privacy as desired. Aside from the main house kitchen, there is an outdoor kitchen with additional attached bathrooms, large Weber BBQ and 4m outdoor table and chairs for a relaxed get together under the stars. Water for the River House is sourced from the Mount Warning spring water line. Guests have direct river access. Launch your canoe or kayak, try and catch a carp or bass or laze on the rocks around the the old bridge pylons. Enjoy exploring the peaceful rainforest paths, sit by the pond and spot a turtle or have a coffee up on the hill in the early morning.
