Property located on the banks of the Tâmega River, where there is 1 bungalow: T1 with fully equipped kitchenette. We are 4 km from Mondim de Basto where you can visit the Fisgas de Ermelo, Lamas de Ôlo, the Alvão Natural Park, among other attractions. A place with a beautiful landscape, in the middle of nature where you can fish, go rafting, canoeing, among others. The pool is shared with the other guests. The space Casa do Rio was born from a dream that was already a few years old. A true adventure from the beginning, this was an old house, hidden, covered by debris and vegetation, where there was no electricity or drinking water. The only access to the 4-hectare property was a very narrow cobbled path where only ox carts and agricultural tractors circulated. What makes this place so special is its beauty, the peace it transmits, the tranquility, the surrounding landscape and the Tâmega River that runs through the property, 1 km of breathtaking riverfront. Today, five years later, Casa do Rio, restored with the greatest commitment, respect and thoughtfulness, and maintaining its original design, offers accommodation in bungalows, suites and lodges decorated with all the comfort, charm and refinement, but sober and unpretentious, all of them properly equipped and air-conditioned, located facing a stunning view of the river. It also has a swimming pool, beautiful gardens, centuries-old trees, waterfalls and corners that resemble an enchanted forest, in the words of those who visit us. Each of these accommodations, Tília, Alecrim, Jasmim, Lavanda, Melissa, Camomila, Varandim, Sunset and Miradouro, delights our guests, providing excellent moments of rest and relaxation, such as barbecues at sunset, swimming in the waters of the river, reading in the shade of an alder tree, enjoying a meal overlooking the Tâmega, diving into the clear and crystalline waters of the waterfall, walking through the beautiful gardens and corners, relaxing on the swings and harvesting organic products available in a small vegetable garden.
