In BnB Bird's Nest: Very pretty, cozy single room in a B&B, with 1 bed measuring 90 cm wide (Possibly a double room with a 180 cm bed). Small seating area in a very quiet natural garden with a bird paradise. We have 3 (4) other B&B rooms. DIRECT bus to BASEL CITY CENTER in 19 min!/10 min by car! Wi-Fi B&B kitchen The space Romantic, located in the middle of nature, and yet only 19 minutes away by direct bus to the city center of Basel! The room is cozily furnished with a quality mattress and duvet. In the natural and wild garden, there are sometimes deer, badgers and storks. At night, you can listen to the tawny owl and the nightingale. The B&B has a separate entrance and its own B&B kitchen, separate from ours, for you to cook for yourself. It is therefore particularly suitable for stays of several days and/or for families/groups/courses. We live with our three children in the house next door. Free tea and Nescafé to make yourself in a bright, welcoming lounge with a sofa, armchair and small table. You are also very welcome to bring your own breakfast or cook other meals (there is a refrigerator!). Direct bus connection to Basel city center!: 3-minute walk to STEGMÜHLEWEG station & 19-minute bus ride (33) to SCHIFFLÄNDTE/city center/market square. 10 minutes by car. By bike, 20 minutes. To SBB RAILWAY STATION: 4-minute walk to the STEGMÜHLEWEG stop & 15-minute bus ride (33) to the SCHÜTZENHAUS stop. Here, change to tram 1 or 8 and ride 5 minutes to SBB TRAIN STATION. By car - 11 minutes. By bike 20 minutes. Guest access Included: free tea and Nescafé to make yourself at all times. Nespresso 1.50. Snacks for purchase. Includes a small lounge with a sofa, armchair and small table. Kitchen included, with the requirement that you leave it clean and tidy for other guests. Wi-Fi included. Included bed linen/towels. Hairdryer and soap included. Extra (order when booking!) : 6.- : Mini breakfast, self-service/to be put away, consisting of: 3 slices of toast, organic butter, organic jam. Plus a drink, such as organic milk or Nespresso. Nescafé and tea are also available free of charge. The price is the same regardless of age. Extra: Right outside the front door, there are always parking spaces available for only CHF 5.00/car/night. During your stay Each room has its own room and house key. Please note: Use the house key ONLY TO UNLOCK! It locks automatically. We live with our family in the attached house right next door and will be happy to answer any questions you might have. We have a different, separate entrance and also our own, separate kitchen. Other things to note The kitchen is sometimes also used by other guests. We therefore ask that, each time you leave the kitchen, you put all the pans away clean and dry in the cabinets, clean all the countertops, and put away any food. Please just put the dishes in the dishwasher. When it is full, we run it for all guests. We do not charge cleaning fees for the kitchen if it is left tidy. (For longer stays, please take glass/cans to public collection points and return PET bottles to the shopping center. On request, our cleaning staff can take care of this for you for a fee to cover expenses. For short stays of 1-2 nights, we will be happy to take care of this for you.) Cooking with additional people who are not staying with us is only allowed by prior arrangement. We have our own kitchen with our family in the house next door.
