The Old Bank | Rylstone (2 bedrooms only)

Retreat to this lovingly restored bank in the heart of Rylstone, NSW. Rich in history and design, this cosy two-bedroom space is centrally located and an easy stroll to the shops, cafés/restaurants etc. It's also a short drive to nearby wineries and National Parks, and a scenic day trip to Mudgee, Gulgong, Sofala, Hill End,​ and the Capertee Valley. While many of the original features have been retained, the house incorporates contemporary elements, making it a uniquely chic place to stay. The space Guests will have access to two bedrooms - one with a king bed, the other with a queen. There's also a cosy living space with smart TV, WiFi, one large bathroom with a shower and washing machine, a large backyard with lockable gate (FYI - the landscaping is currently a work in progress) and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, microwave and Nespresso-compatible coffee machine. Guest access We have recently completed a renovation of the Old Bank, so please note that guests will only have partial access to the house which includes one king bedroom, a queen bedroom, a bathroom with shower and washing machine, a small kitchen and living space, a front and back verandah and all the facilities to enjoy a cosy self-contained stay. There is a separate Airbnb listing if you would prefer to book the entire house. Other things to note Please note, the house is located on the main street in the centre of Rylstone so guests should expect traffic and pedestrian noise and activity. COVID-19 note: We are now able to accept bookings for all stays, but will continue to implement extra cleaning and safety measures. We are also willing to be flexible on cancellations during this period of uncertainty (within reason). If in the days prior to checking in you find yourself feeling in any way unwell, or if you are residing in a Covid-19 hotspot, urge you to please check-in with us and consider rescheduling your stay.
