Farmhouse De Hoeve B&B - with an English touch

Tonden is situated near the medieval town Zutphen and is on the edge of De Hoge Veluwe National Park. The apartment is surrounded by beautiful countryside,it's a peaceful and lovely place for walking and cycling, for just relaxing and enjoying. Thermen Bussloo, Paleis Loo, golfbanen, The Kröller-müller and More museums are all nearby as are a host of excellent restaurants. It is possible to use our washing machine. The space It may be handy to begin with mentioning that your hotess Wendy is English but speaks Dutch! The beautifully decorated spacious apartment has its own front door which enters into the fully equipped kitchen it has an oven, induction cooktop, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and kettle. Outside the kitchen door there is a patio and there are various parts of an English country garden which are for your use. The area is not fenced off for dog ! Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, one room is the main bedroom. This large and elegantly decorated bedroom has a king sized (1.80 x 2.00) boxspring bed with luxurious linen from "The White Company". The other room has a fusion atmosphere, a bit like Wendys style of cooking ! This room has a double function as it can also be used as a sittingroom. The room is colourful and can double up as an extra bedroom it has two single beds (2.00 x 1.00 and 1.90 x .90), ideal for children or friends. There is a television which gets amongst other channels BBC1 and BBC 2 and netflix. On the landing there is a bathroom with a shower. The bathroom consists of a shower, loo and sink.The second bathroom is in the main house and has a cast iron bath, sink and loo. You will find lovely white fluffy towels and face cloths from "The White Company". There are delicious smellies for in and after the shower or bath. Guest access There is a large garden which you are welcome to walk around, the fenced off bit is to keep our dogs in and you out ! Other things to note Babies 0-2 yrs are free and there is a cot. Children 2-12 pay €20,00 per night I provide an organic breakfast and it is included in the price. It is possible to order dinner for the first night of your arrival. The price for a two-course meal is € 25,00 per person. and for three courses € 30,00 per person. including a bottle of organic white or red wine. There are 2 bikes which you are welcome to use free of charge. Not handy for wheelchair users I'm afraid. Beds are upstairs and lots of gravel around and about. Park the car at the beginning of the drive. It may also be handy to know that it can be seriously dark here at night, there is a torch in the apartment.
