Grandma Addie's is the most unique little farm house for your getaway. Located in quiet Southern Utah, it's just minutes from Zion National park and Bryce Canyon National park, and the perfect location to stay each night after your adventures. The home sits right on the Virgin River with a charming waterfall right on site. We just finished renovation on the home in February 2019 so come and enjoy, everything is new and modern. Grandma Addies is so special to our family. My husbands grandpa built this house in 1940 and this was where his father was raised and my husband spent most of his time growing up. Grandma Addie loved this home and lived here till she was 95 and spent most of her days in the yard and garden. Please enjoy the fruit on the trees in the fall and and don’t miss the the waterfall just past the sheep corral! The guest have loved doing photo shoots there, but please watch your children as it has a steep embankment! Please feel free to use the BBQ grill, picnic table and our newly planted herb garden for cooking those home cooked meals. There is a sprinkler on the hose and the kids are welcome to turn it on the lawn and cool off on the hot summer days. A large beach towel is provided on the back porch for enjoying the sun on the lawn. We asked that you please don’t take the bathroom towels outside though. We live within a half mile of Grandma Addie's and are available for any questions you may have during your stay. Please feel free to text or call if you need assistance and time though out your stay #435-691-4980 Our town is very small, only 300 citizens, so there isn’t a lot here in town. There is a post office open from 8:00 - 12:00 Monday Thur Saturday. There is a small town park located on center street. There are shaded tables for having lunch and plenty of room for children to enjoy when you need a break from daily activities. The local grocery store “Terry’s Food” is open till 9:00 each night but closed on Sundays. It is 4 miles south in Orderville. There is also a small baseball field located on the south/east end of town. It has a great view of Glendale up there. We have left a bat and ball on the back porch for your use. There are no taxi’s and buses in this area which comes with the quiet rural area. We live our small town and hope you feel at home will staying here. The sheep are feed twice a day so you may see my Father-in-law down at the barn doing chores. His name is Bill and you are welcome to go down while he is there and enjoying seeing the country life.
