Cottage in Mancelona

Grill out & enjoy a bonfire with friends at this wooded vacation home located in the Lakes of the North Vacation Community! The cabin is a few minutes walk from state land, ORV trails, and the NCT Hiking Trail. Bellaire, torch lake & Gaylord are 30 minutes drive for any activities, shopping, and items you may need. Well behaved dogs are welcome also ($35 fee). The space The home has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a small workspace with a desk and computer chair. The 2nd room has a full bed and the last room has 1 twin bunk bed. Between the 2 guests rooms is a small jack and Jill bathroom with a door leading to to each room. The living room TV has access to Netflix and prime video for guests to use. The speakers in the living room also have a blue tooth adaptor, just pair your device and enjoy! Guests can find Adirondack chairs and tables on the deck to enjoy your morning coffee or hangout while grilling dinner in the summer sun :) For the fur babies, I keep 1 cable leash attached to the front porch near the steps so our pups can hang out with us without the risk of wandering. The back yard is also fenced to let the pups wander about and do their business. All basics items left at the home are available for guest use. My goal is for you to feel like you are walking into your own cabin! Items available: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair spray, hair dryer, flat iron, curling iron, bug spray, sunscreen, band aids, first aid cream, coffee, ketchup, mustard, foil, plastic baggies, tupperware, all cookware, grill utensils, crockpot, griddle, waffle maker, and so much more. If a guest uses the last of something I ask them to please let me know so I can plan to re-stock. That being said, sometimes guests forget to let me know so it may take a few weeks to be notified and re-stock certain items (this rarely happens with the help of my cleaner checking as well, but it can) . Plan to bring the items that are very important for your stay and if you forget, know there will most likely be something available for you. Window AC units and grill will be guaranteed between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Outside of that timeframe, these items may be available depending on the forecast for spring and fall months. A guest is welcome to request the items for spring and fall and I will accommodate if I am able. Guests can request a guest pass to access the beach and clubhouse to use the pool and hot tub for $6 per person per visit. Guests can pay at the clubhouse when they visit and all guests over the age of 18 must bring a valid ID to enter. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and property through a coded keypad on the main entry door of the home. In the summer there are 2 private beaches (guest pass required) where you can swim and grill on the available charcoal park style grills. No pets allowed at beaches and guests must bring their own charcoal. Additional paid activities include the Deer Run Golf Course located inside of the community. Other things to note If you are bringing a furry friend, please let me know upon booking. There will be a $35 additional cleaning fee to ensure all pet hair and dander is cleaned from the nooks and crannies for the next guest. Thank you!
