Cozy remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath on West Shore. Tucked away on small quiet street. Great chef's kitchen, gas fireplace, and cozy common space. Walking distance to lake; close to bike paths, hiking, skiing, downtown; backs onto tons of open space. The space Our house is on a very quiet street surrounded by trees in the fabulous Sunnyside neighborhood on the west shore. Master bedroom with Cal-King European Sleep Works bed. Second bedroom with Queen European Sleep Works bed. Third bedroom includes two twin beds with European Sleep Works mattresses and two additional mattresses/bedding for kids to crash on the floor. Pac-n-play with sheets and baby blanket. Fully equipped chef’s kitchen with professional gas range, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, pots/pans, dishes and everything you need to cook a fabulous meal -- even an ice cream maker! Cozy living room with gas fireplace, soft blankets, lots of board games and toys for kids. Mud room with heated floors to dry off all your wet winter wear and hang up all your layers. Very quiet street -- house backs onto summer hiking trails and great hills for winter sledding. Amenities include: - Large deck with gas grill - Outdoor hammock (its better in the summer, really) - Flat screen Smart TV with Netflix, DVD player, and Apple TV - Wireless Internet - Large-capacity washer and dryer - Plenty of bath and beach towels - Off-street parking for up to 3 cars (driveway plowed in the winter) Entire house. We don't live in the area, but are easily available via email or telephone/text during your stay. Neighborhood Kilner Park includes a fabulous playground, tennis courts, volleyball court, picnic/BBQ area and bathrooms. .7 miles from Lake Tahoe’s Sunnyside area, which includes the William Kent public beach and campgrounds, Sunnyside restaurant, Firesign Café, Westshore Market and Shadyside Lounge. 1.2 miles from Tahoe House bakery & gourmet store and New Moon Natural Foods 2 miles from downtown Tahoe City, which includes lots of shops, restaurants, museums, grocery stores, river rafting, and fabulous Commons Beach Park. 15 minutes from beautiful Meeks Bay. 20 minutes to Desolation Wilderness. 8 minutes to Homewood Mountain Resort. 15 minutes to Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. 20 minutes to Palisades Ski Resort. 1 hour to Reno (sure plenty of gambling but Whole Foods too!) The public bus (TART) is available .7 miles from the house on Hwy. 89. Off-street parking for up to 3 cars (driveway plowed in the winter). This is our very special home and we hope you will treat it as such. We have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into remodeling the house (with two very small children in toe to boot!) and we hope you will leave it in the same shape you found it in.
