In the hippest area: Anjos

In the multicultural, trendy area of Anjos, 5 minutes walk from Rossio, 10 from Chiado and Bairro Alto. Metro Intendente by the door. Spacious room with balcony, next to the bathroom, in big, sunny, apartment . For non superstitious cat lovers – there are two black ones in the house. The space I share my apartment for the company and to pay the rent - this is not an hostel or «alojamento local». As I lived in Asia many years the oriental decoration gives an ethnic feeling to this XIX century apartment on a first floor. There is lots of light, and the buzz of the avenue Almirante Reis with the trams passing by (but no noise since there are double windows). Small double bed, excelent mattress, cotton bed sheets. A cleaner comes once a week. Guest access You have access to the kitchen and bathroom. You are in one end of the house, me on the other one. My mate and our 7 year old son may be here too but we are away from town many times. During your stay I am an academic researcher so I work at home and have time to give advice on what to do in Lisbon and may even go out with you for a drink. Other things to note I favour long term guests - bookings over one month may have further discount. There is a cleaner available every Tuesday.
