My accommodation is suitable for couples, business travelers and families (with children). It's located in a 1200AD Venetian Palace, the typical baroque furniture completes the feeling of a plunge in the Past, enriched with a modern and full equipped kitchen. From your windows you will see an enlighted "Campo", with the traditional well in the middle, the Santa Maria Mater Domini Church and also a tiny Canal with a Gondola stop. The space The flat consists in a double bedroom, a complete bathroom with hairdryier and a bath, a living room with a double sofabed, and a private, fully equipped kitchen. Guest access Please note: if you choose to use Googlemaps please be careful as entering the address "Santa Croce 2177" the map indicates the wrong place. To avoid misunderstandings, enter directly "Campo/Chiesa Santa Maria Mater Domini" and once you reach the Campo, look for number 2177. Access is directly from the Campo, the apartment is on the second floor. The Palace is ancient, which is why alas, you won't find an elevator, but someone from my family will be there to welcome you! Other things to note RECYCLING Trash managing is very very important in Venice, recycling is essential also because things are collected door by door every morning! You need to separate: 1. plastic glass and cans 2. paper 3. everything else. The un-differentiated trash is collected every day before 8am, while the other two every other day! You will find everything written in the kitchen and separate bins anyway, so there will be no TURIST TAX: Starting from the 24th of August 2011 the Municipality of Venice has established the TOURIST TAX with City Counsil resolution n. 83 of the 23-24 June 2011. The tax is applied to the overnight stays of non-residents in the Municipality of Venice for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights. The tax is due in EURO CASH at the moment of check- in.
