Guest access Exclusive occupancy Other things to note Our property provides for our guests complimentary use of a Weber charcoal BBQ, a cast iron fire pit and a log burning stove. Key safety points Adverse weather/wind conditions can cause a fire to become out of control. We strongly advise not lighting the Woodburner, BBQ or Fire Pit if winds are blowing hard (particularly if above 20 mph). Use a minimal number of fire lighters – one is sufficient Use kindling to start a small fire and then slowly add larger pieces of wood. Never over fill the fire equipment with wood. Ensure the ash pan door* remains closed when using the woodburner. Do not leave fires unattended. Keep all people and pets away from fires. Ensure the fire has been extinguished before going to bed. Make sure ashes are cold before disposing of them in the metal ash bucket. In case of an emergency Woodburner – immediately close the primary air vent on the front of the stove. Keep stove doors and vents shut. Fire Pit & BBQ – Use sand from the outdoor bucket to smother the fire.
