Bus stop 250m away: car takes 35 minutes. Stay 3 days, we take you there free one day. Lots of day trips are available. Nuwara Eliya and tea country, Peradeniya Gardens, or visit James Taylor's estate. Local walks. We provide breakfast, and European dinner if required, we can fix up massage , and a professional astrologer. The space Rabarkanda Tea Bungalow is looked after by Dishan. Sajith, his wife's brother, does the cooking. We can arrange longer trips at very good rates. We will pick you up at Peradeniya or Gampola Rail Station. Train is the most comfortable way to get from Colombo, but we can fix up a car to pick you up and bring you here as required. There are also regular buses from Colombo. Lots of people enjoy Ayurvedic massage in Sri Lanka and we can usually fix that too. More unusual, Dishan can link you with a professional Astrologer. ( A young man, he is known nationally from TV appearances) He is an expert in Gem Therapy ( no, I had not heard of that either!) Come armed with your date and time of birth! You can choose the big expensive hotels in Kandy city, walk round the lake (if the traffic allows), or you can enjoy the countryside at Rabarkanda. Most people who visit us go on some day trips and we have a car and a tuk-tuk available. We have beautiful scenery, the second largest reclining Buddha in South Asia, a Local Monastery where young monks will show you round, and so much more! For dinner, restaurants are available in Gampola, 4 km away, or Sajith can cook for you (extra cost) Most visitors stay with us for 3 nights or so, and then we provide free transport into Kandy on a day of your choice.
