For daily comfort, good basic equipment and lots of kitchen accessories are available (dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc.). For entertainment, a flat-screen TV, Internet, children's toys and books are available. The vacation home is made up of two apartment units. On the tiled ground floor, there is a living room with a corner sofa, adjoining dining area for 6 people (expandable if necessary). Next to it is the very cozy bedroom with a double bed and dressing table. There is also a bathroom and kitchen on the first floor. A door to the hallway keeps noise from the living area on the upper floor, as well as children away from the stairs. On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms. 1st room (double bed, sofa bed, wardrobe). In the 2nd room there is a double bed and in the 3rd room a single bed, but expandable with an additional sleeping option (armchair bed). A bathroom on the upper floor completes the pleasant stay. The entire vacation home is predominantly equipped with a rustic wooden floorboard. The terrace is accessible from the outside. This is equipped with a fixed roof. This is great because you can have breakfast outside in any weather, for example, barbecue (grill and garden furniture available), play, leave everything. You can also store your own bikes there. The vacation home "Hamburg-Schenefeld" is located on the western outskirts of Hamburg (Schenefeld) in a quiet 30 km/h zone. There are many attractions close to the vacation home. The Volksparkstation and arenas, where many concerts and games are held, are only 3.7 km away. Nearby is the Dahlia Garden in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld near the harness racing track. The Elbe with its small bays is 7 km away (e.g. Blankenese), numerous beaches and a beautiful lake are in the vicinity. Here you can fish and spend a nice day. The Elbe bike and hiking trail is becoming increasingly popular and is also in the vicinity. The most beautiful walking paths lead through forests and through the Klöwensteen game reserve (about 5 km away). From the bus stop "Moorweg," about 270 m from our vacation home "Hamburg-Schenefeld," you can get everywhere. By bus line 186 you can reach the S-Bahn Elbgaustraße in 10 minutes. From there you can take the S3 and S21, and come directly to Hamburg's main station, town hall, Reeperbahn or Altona. Another alternative would be to take bus line 2 or 3 from Schenefelder Platz (550 m away) and arrive in the city (13 km away) in 30 minutes.
