Small apartment in beautiful quiet house

Located a 15-minute walk from the city center, this small attic apartment refurbished in 2020 occupies the attic (3rd floor) of a beautiful century-old house called Pré-Fleuri. Very bright, thanks to the skylights, the 2 rooms have a partial view of the city skyline, the lake and the Jura. With its Nordic and minimalist style, it is a small pied-à-terre perfect for relaxing or exploring this beautiful region between the lake and Jura, rich in activities in any season. The space With the charm of a fully attic accommodation, you will access it by the main staircase and then a small, fairly steep wooden staircase (see photos). You can enjoy the cozy bedroom with its sleeping area, nestled under the beams and sloping ceiling. The charming living room contains a fully equipped kitchen, a table for 4 guests and a sofa bed. Just what you need to feel good! Everywhere, wood, white walls and a refined decoration, a sweet mixture to create an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and rejuvenation! Outside, you can enjoy a small corner near the gate to enjoy a coffee in the morning sun or have a small aperitif after a day of discovery. Between stays, we hire a housekeeper to clean the apartment and do the laundry. Each room is sanitized following detailed cleaning checklists. If needed, you can have additional cleaning products during your stay. Guest access The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a house without an elevator. Not suitable for people with limited mobility. Tall people may also be hindered in their movement, due to the fact that the accommodation is located under the roofs. Presence of beams and nooks. See photos! The Pré-Fleuri house is accessible: - by bus > bus 603 (Bellevue) 10 min from Yverdon-les-Bains train station, Riant-Fleurs stop - on foot > 20 min from the train station, 15 min from the city center - by bike (self-service bikes at the station and down the street). Possibility to park your own bikes on the property - by car > 5 min from the Yverdon-Sud highway exit. Possibility to park a car for free in front of the house, along the fence. Other things to note The apartment is located under the roofs on the 3rd floor of our house. In the middle of summer, during the hot weather, it can be relatively hot. However, the skylights allow good ventilation and, if necessary, we provide a fan for our guests. The railway line passes close to the house. This may cause nuisance to noise-sensitive people when the skylights are open in summer. Upon request, a washing machine and dryer can be provided.
