Opposite 2 malls (Fairlawn Plaza on West, Carlingwood Mall on North) catering to shopping, banking, dining, a food court, and many restaurants only steps away from the house. 2nd QUEEN BED is available upon request for extra $35 per night, per guest using it. Located about 10 km West of downtown Ottawa, where you'll find Parliament of Canada, Museums, famous Byward Market & other interesting places. EASY ACCESS: Transit, Shopping (2-min walk) Nature Paths, Cycling Major Roads/Highways The space The Apartment has 2 QUEEN SIZE BEDS: The FIRST BED is provided automatically with your booking and it is for single or double occupancy. The SECOND BED (a Murphy Queen cabinet style) is available upon request and for an extra cost of $35 per night, and per person using that bed (it includes cleaning fees for bed linens, pillows, duvet/blanket, etc). Please read Additional house rules under 'Policies and Rules'. The apartment is located in the Glabar/McKellar Park areas of Ottawa and is just West of downtown (about a 10-minute drive). All parts of the apartment space are available to the guests and are PRIVATE. The common areas such as the entrance/exit step to/from the apartment, the laundry room, the backyard and the driveway are SHARED. The backyard is available and so is the BBQ Grill which must be cleaned by the guest after every use. Guests may use all the free amenities that come with the apartment, such as WiFi, the ELECTRIC FIREPLACE (in the living room), Microwave, Toaster, full size Stove & Fridge, Keurig Appliance, etc. We provide a kettle for hot water, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery along with dish detergent, scrubbing pads, etc., for guests to cleanup the kitchen items after usage. Guest access Parking (24/7) is available on the property, and time-limited parking is available on the City street and at the 2 Shopping Malls. Shopping, dining, banking, and fitness gym are only steps away. A mere 1 - 2 minute(s) walk will take you to all the shopping you may need or want, such as: - electronics (Staples), - groceries (Loblaws), - dollar store (Dollarama), - drugstores (Shoppers), - sports, misc (Cdn Tire), - liquor/beer store (LCBO), - banking... Royal, TD, CIBC, Scotiabank. Other things to note The 2nd QUEEN SIZE BED (a Murphy cabinet style bed) is available upon request, and for a fee of $35 per night, per guest using that bed. It is located in the Living Room and looks like a regular cabinet when not in use. No smoking is allowed inside the apartment and the house environment, however, guests can smoke in designated areas in the backyard and cigarette butts can be outed in special containers or ashtrays, but not on the ground. Garbage and recyclable containers are identified and located under the kitchen sink in the apartment. The Cleaning Staff will empty these containers. However, for long staying guests, the Staff will arrange with the guests the day and time when that task will occur. However, the guest may also request for that activity to occur as needed by the guest. Rules relating to The Covid-19 Pandemic are not currently applied.
