The Garden house was completly renovated keeping the charm of the old wooden beams. The situation is fabulous just in the beach but also some minutes away from Porto downtown The space The House The house has 300m2 with four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people. One bedrooms with double bed and the other three bedrooms with two single beds. Three rooms overlook the sea and one a beautifil garden . It also has 3 bathrooms, two with bathtub. In the living room you can rely on a fireplace for cold nights. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and all other equipment and tools needed for a holiday with family or friends. The Garden House also has private parking. Surroudings A garden house in Granja (15klms from Oporto), that is smack on the sea, with direct access to a spectacular beach and set in a lovely garden with a big lawn and lots of trees. There is a maritime ramp of 15klms for perfect walking and close to 3 golf courses Miramar (9 holes) twenty minutes by foot, Golfe de Espinho (18 holes) at 5klms and Fojo (9 holes) at 7klms. Public transport is easy and frequent with the station a six minute walk from the house and a 24 minute ride to the centre of Oporto. There are good supermarkets at just 10 minutes again by foot or 3 to 4 minutes by car and a large variety of restaurants many of which offer a Take-Away service. Two municipal swimming pools are available at 60 mts with both an interior and an exterior pool. Espinho is the local town offering all modern facilities and services -hospital - casino - restaurants and a wide range of shops, the Monday market fair is one of the best and most famous in Portugal and the first Sunday of every month offers an antique fair. Espinho is a 3 minute run by train. Guest access To a beautiful garden with direct access to the beach. The guests have access also to a public swimming pool with salt water for a very reasonable price. Other things to note We are in the Atlantic sea. So the water can be cold that is why the fish is so good. The sun can be very strong so you will need a high protection sunscreen. From the 1st December 2018 Vila Nova de Gaia has a city tax. This tax is applicable to guests aged 16 or over, per night up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. The tax is 2,5€ per guest and per night.
