The cabin features a kitchenette, including pots, pans, silverware and dishes, a king size Sleep Number bed, a desk and small table, and a bathroom. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom look out at pine-covered hills. Pets are not allowed in the cabin, but well-behaved pets are welcome on the premises. Located in a small valley surrounded by pine forest, superb for birdwatching, hiking, mountain biking, fishing (brown and rainbow trout), rock hunting, and astronomy (at 7400 feet with virtually no light pollution). Or just relax into the peace and quiet. The property is bordered by the Vallecitos River. Horses, cats, and chickens on premises. Wireless Internet is available in the cabin and on the grounds. There is a landline telephone available in the main house. There is no cell phone coverage in the area, but smart phones can call or text via WiFi. No public transit, plenty of free parking. Guest access You'll have unlimited access to the cabin, front yard (with bench, hammock, and chairs), pasture, river, and Carson National Forest. There is an outdoor propane grill available. A washer and dryer are available in the main house. Other things to note Early check-in and/or late check-out are available if they do not conflict with another guest's stay. Entry into cabin is into kitchenette, door is 35" (89 cm) wide and a 5" (13 cm) lip. Kitchenette to bathroom has 31" (79 cm) door and a 3.5" (9 cm) lip. Kitchenette to bedroom has a 33" (84 cm) door and a 0.5" (1.3 cm) lip. Note the bed is high, top of mattress is 38" (97 cm) above the floor. There is a stepstool available for use by the bed.
