The Little Smithy is a gem nestled just off the Duke of Westminster’s estate and surrounded by fields down a proper country lane , it was the old blacksmiths forge for the duke A little piece of heaven within easy reach of Chester , Wrexham , North Wales , Liverpool and Manchester The space The house was an old blacksmiths forge , for the Duke of Westminster It sits on the end of my drive but with plenty of privacy surrounded by fields It’s own parking for 2 cars Own garden with hammock to watch the world go by Guest access Guests have there own private access to the little Smithy and the garden has access straight outside the French doors from the sitting room There you will find seating, the fire pit and the hammock There is a gym with time slots for use no under 16 yr unattended Please let me know if you would like to use it when you book Other things to note The Grosvenor hotel and spa is literally at the end of our lane Great afternoon tea Fab food and amazing Spa This isn’t the only pub within walking distance there’s The dog and Pickle and The Golden Lion There is a fabulous bus service at the end of our lane that can take you into Chester in about 15 / 20 minutes or towards Wrexham for the football grounds in 15/20 minutes extra bonus is WiFi on the service too To find what’s going on in Chester check out We love good times Chester Has information on restaurants and local events from Roman tours to racing live music and what’s happening on the river
