Large private house very close to the center.

A magnificent 19th century 'maison de maître' with the old stables in the backyard, completely redone in the spirit of a loft, awaits you in the heart of the European institutions. The house is 200 m2 and is located 8 minutes from Place Schuman, the European Parliament as well as Place Flagey where you will find many bars and restaurants. The size of the house is ideal for groups and families, allowing you to spend time in a typical Brussels house. The space There are two double bedrooms in the house, with two double beds. There is also a sofa bed for a fifth person in the top floor bedroom (138cm). There is a child’s bed in the top bedroom that can be used for children up to 8 or 9 years old (80cm wide so depending on the size of the child!) I can add a cot and up to travelling beds wherever needed in the house. There is also a sofa bed in the living room on the first floor that can be opened up as a 160cm bed. There is also a sofa bed (160cm) on the ground floor. This means that 14 people can sleep in the house, with four beds for four little ones. Maximum 10 adults, and 4 children! Please note that there are two flights of stairs. The flight to the top floor is a little steep. There is a parking space in front of the house that you can use UPON PREVIOUS REQUEST. Parking in the neighbourhood is free all weekend. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob; I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination; I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists; I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay; I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines. Guest access When you arrive at the house, you will enter through a large wrought iron door that will lead you to the yellow house in the backyard. To access your yellow house, you will cross the entrance to the main house, guided by me or my husband. You will arrive in the inner courtyard where there is a table and chairs allowing you to enjoy the beautiful weather! Other things to note With three children, I have many toys, books, DVDs, etc. to entertain them. I also have a stroller and a deck chair, not to mention two high chairs and cots. The heating system is easy to use. A thermostat in the kitchen allows you to adjust the heating of the whole house. Please do not turn off the radiators. The heating is programmed to maintain an ambient temperature of 20 degrees. If, however, this is not suitable for you, please let me know. In summer, we all use sunscreen. This can stain the sheets and pillowcases orange if you don't wash your face before going to bed. In this case, it takes several washes and products to remove the stains, and sometimes the result is not guaranteed! If this is the case, I will have to charge extra for the laundry service.
