South Facing Cottage Near Beach • Walk to 3 Pubs
Description
Are you looking for a relaxing break on the West Dorset Jurassic Coast? We can offer a stylish, cosy cottage in the lovely coastal village of Chideock which is just a 15-20 minute leafy lane stroll to the beach at Seatown as well as 3 excellent pubs walking distance too, one just across the road. Lots of countryside and coastal walks straight from the door. All the mod-cons you expect with good wifi and smart TV/bluetooth. Parking space at the cottage. EV charging at local shop car park. The space We have lots of returning guests year after year who comment on how relaxing and quiet the cottage is which is set back from the main road down a short lane. Lovely field and hill views from main bedroom and garden. There are cows and sheep in the nearby field that come up close to the fence in the lane to say hello. Sleeps up to 3 guests in 2 bedrooms 1 upstairs bathroom AGA in the kitchen keeping cottage lovely and cosy 3 excellent pubs walkable (The George 50 steps! 5 mins to The Clock and 20 mins walk to The Anchor at Seatown) 15-20 minute walk to beach South facing garden overlooking fields and hills Sorry, no pets Parking at the cottage for one vehicle. Garden and patio is south facing getting the sun all day with table and chairs and comfy outside seating. BBQ too. NB: The second bedroom can accommodate one guest only (an adult, or child or infant). Airbnb do not count an infant as a guest so there would not be room for a child AND an infant in a cot. We can provide a cot in the main bedroom (or the 2nd bedroom on its own). Chideock Cottage is one of four old fishermen’s cottages and is next door to Greenwich Cottage (also on Airbnb) so why not holiday with friends/family and book both cottages? Guest access Whole house and garden. Other things to note Sorry, we do not accept pets at Chideock Cottage. The turning right from the cottage lane into the main road (to go to Bridport) can sometimes be tricky as there is restricted view so we always recommend that guests do a left turn and then turn round at the local village shop to come back up the road.
