2025-STR-0092 Auburn Lodge is a beautiful 4-bedroom home in the heart of Lake Placid-a block from Village Shops, Lakes, Golf Courses and Walking Trails. This spacious 4-level vacation rental is the ideal space for one or multiple families with something for everyone. The space Auburn Lodge is a mission style home that features original beams, brick gas fireplace, hardwood floors and custom kitchen cabinetry. Enjoy its updated, well-stocked gourmet chef's kitchen. The first floor features two large open living spaces–one with a cozy gas fireplace, the other with a comfy sofa and smart TV. The newly finished basement includes two separate spaces–a game room with a ping-pong table, dart board, smart TV, and Xbox One on one side, and a family room with a large flat screen smart TV and large sectional sofa on the other side with access to the garage. The second floor features 4 comfortable bedrooms with all new linens and bedding. The third floor features a cozy area to curl up with a book or watch your favorite movie or to work while you are away from home. In the warmer months the rooms on the second and third floors have A/C units to keep you cool! In the warmer weather enjoy the large private back deck off the kitchen with a gas BBQ grill, propane fire pit and outdoor seating for entertaining. In the colder months we are the perfect ski lodge–store your skis and outdoor equipment in the mudroom entrance or garage, and enjoy the wood burning fire pit in the side yard. The house is a 15 minute drive to Whiteface Ski Area. And only a 2-minute walk to the LP FREE ski shuttle pick up and drop off point. All 5 smart TV's offer cable & can utilize your Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBOGO accounts. The bathrooms are well equipped with soft plush towels and new showers. For your convenience there are hair dryers in each bathroom. Four parking spaces are available on the premises – two by the garage, one in the garage, and one on the street in front of the house. **One dog will be accepted with owner approval. The neighborhood is a quiet tree-lined street. It is a wonderful location that is walking distance to the Village Shops, Lakes, Golf Course, and Walking Trails. Only a 15-minute drive to the slopes. For those without cars, Lake Placid offers free shuttle services that are available during the ski season to take you to the mountain. We work hard and play hard so we need our rest. There are strict limits on noise levels between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Ordinances will be enforced by any law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the short-term rental property. A violation of this ordinance will result in termination of the contract. If traveling in the snow, we highly recommend having a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The road will be plowed as well as the driveway, but winters in the Adirondacks are beautiful but can sometimes be unpredictable!
