Our farm house is situated within 30 minutes from the centre of Amsterdam and Utrecht. The house is spacious and has a large garden with a lot of privacy. The space The house: The farm house is built at the end of the 19th century and completely renovated. It has all the requirements one can think of and is suitable for families and friends with or without children. The specs: - at a parcel of 450 m2 you find the spacious house with over 250 m2 living space and your own parking. Ground floor: - stylish furnished living room (80 m2) with fire place and french doors to the garden. - convenient open kitchen-dining-TV room (40 m2) with dishwasher, oven, espresso machine, fridge and 5 burner gas stove and flat screen. - pantry with washing machine and freezer. - toilet. First floor: - spacious master bedroom (40 m2) with double bed, fire place (on gas) and seating. - second bedroom (25 m2) with double bed and desk. - third bedroom (25 m2) with double bed and seating. - large bathroom with walk-in double shower, double sink and toilet. Second floor: - large loft (60 m2) with double bed and seating. Extra's: - Home cinema with beamer and Harman Kardon surround system in living room; Apple TV; Netflix; piano; high speed WIFI. - BBQ; brazier; dryer. The cottage will be completely yours during your stay. We will welcome you to handover the keys and we will be available to answer your questions if necessary. The area: We live (email hidden) area with heats, forests and lake (Gooi Meer) with its harbors and restaurants. The fortress Naarden-Vesting and Muiden with its castle are at biking distance. Nice picturesque villages to visit in the near area are Laren and Blaricum. Upon arrival you'll find more information about things to do in Amsterdam, Utrecht and our surroundings. Also some bike- and walking routes available. Just around the corner is a busstation (2 min walk). The interliner bus can take you to Amsterdam twice every hour. Schiphol is also easily reached by bus and train. Huizen is situated very central in the Netherlands. Amsterdam takes 30 minutes by car, Utrecht 30 min, Rotterdam about 1 hour. Parking in Huizen is free of charge. 'Het Gooi' is a popular area for bicycle tours or long walks. You will definitely be surprised how inspiring it is to visit lively Amsterdam and to enjoy the quietness and Burgundian lifestyle of the country side within the hour.
